A TO Z SHORTCUTS FOR WINDOWS


➤ A TO Z SHORTCUTS WITH CTLR KEY:

1. Ctrl + A : Select all at a time.

2. Ctrl + B : Change selected text to be Bold (MS office, etc.).

3. Ctrl + C : Copy selected item.

4. Ctrl + D : File or folder delete in Bookmark(URL).

5. Ctrl + E : Focus on address bar, search bar depending on your browser.

6. Ctrl + F : It is use to find words in internet browser or MS office.

7. Ctrl + H : Open history in browser.

8. Ctrl + I : Change selected text to Italic (MS office).

9. Ctrl + J : Open download window in browser.

10. Ctrl + K : Open Insert Hyperlink window in MS office.

11. Ctrl + L : Justification in MS office.

12. Ctrl + M : Insert new slide in MS office.

13. Ctrl + N : Open new page (Internet browser, MS office).

14. Ctrl + O : Open file (Internet browser, MS office).

15. Ctrl + P : Open print section (Internet browser, MS office).

16. Ctrl + Q : Directly close MS office.

17. Ctrl + R : Reload the page (Internet browser).

18. Ctrl + S : Save document.

19. Ctrl + T : Open a new tab in internet browser.

20. Ctrl + U : It is use to give underline and remove underline on the selected texts in MS office.

21. Ctrl + V : Paste the copied files/text/photos etc.

22. Ctrl + W : It is use to close the windows command/use for closing tab in internet browser.

23. Ctrl + X : Copy and cut selected item at a time.

24. Ctrl + Y : Redo.

25. Ctrl + Z : Undo.



➤ 10+ SHORTCUTS WITH WINDOWS KEY:

1. Windows + (1,2,3,…) : Open the pin application / programs on the task bar without using mouse.
Example 1. If you want to open first pin application / program on task bar then you can use (windows + 1) key.
Example 2. If you want to open second pin application / program on task bar then you can use (windows + 2) key.
Like that you can open your pin application / programs on the task bar.

2. Windows + Up arrow : Maximize the screen.

3. Windows + Down arrow : Minimize the screen.

4. Windows + Right arrow : Move screen to right side.

5. Windows + Left arrow : Move screen to left side. 

6. Windows + A : Open action center.

7. Windows + D : Minimize all windows at a time.

8. Windows + E : Open file explorer.

9. Windows + Tab : You can see all open windows in one frame and you can also switch to one window to other.

10. Windows + R : Open Run mode. (Directly jump into the any file/software/games etc.)

11. Windows + X : Menu bar.

12. Windows + L : Sleep your computer.

13. Windows + (+) : Magnifier (Zoom In/ Zoom Out).



14. Windows + PrtScr : Screenshot.

15. Windows + Shift + S : Snip (Its like a screen shot only, if you want take picture of any part of your screen then you can select and take a screenshot using this key.)


➤ FUNCTION KEY SHORTCUTS:

1. F1 : Help.

2. F2 : Rename.

3. F3 : Search.

4. Alt + F4 : Close Application/Shut down.

5. F5 : Refresh.

6. F6 : Its show URL in internet browser.

7. F7 : Check grammar in MS office.

8. F8 : Safe mode.

9. F11 : Full Screen mode.

10. F12 : Flight mode .

{ NOTE : If you use laptop then you should be use Fn key with F1, F2, F3,... (Fn + F1, F2, F3…) and Function (Fn) key is located beside of windows key on laptop keyboard. }
